Q. Do you use chemicals that smell bad?
A. Not normally. We use very low to no odor chemicals that are strong enough to get the job done right while leaving your home smelling the way you like it! Occasionally certain situations may require a stronger chemical than the no odor chemicals we prefer to use. You will always be informed before we preform a service if a chemical may leave a faint lingering odor. These situations are very rare.
Q. Are your treatments safe for me and my family?
A. Yes! We only use industry approved chemicals that are pet and family friendly once allowed to dry.
Q. Do i have to leave my home for several hours after a treatment is done?
A. Not normally. Occasionally some jobs like flea jobs may require our technicians to advise you to exit the home for a couple of hours according to the product label. This is very rare, and would only apply if the entire home had to be treated. Even the most potent chemicals we use allow safe reentry into the home once the chemical has been allowed to dry.
Q. Do i have to sign a year long contract for routine pest control?
A. Absolutely NOT. We believe that our service speaks for itself and therefore we have no reason to attempt to lock you into any form of long term contract. In fact we have no contracts. Our monthly service plan is set up in a way that works for YOU. You decide when you need us, and pay monthly as you go. We will always hope to see you next month and plan our scheduling accordingly. We always call or send a message the day before the service date to check in and see if you need or want us to service your home or business.
Q. Is a monthly service really necessary?
A. In most cases it is recommended to be on a routine schedule. This helps ensure insects stay outside of the home. Some areas experience more pest pressure than others. Areas that have low pest pressure may not need a service every month. That is why our plan works great for everyone. We are flexible so that you always get exactly what you need. If you want to skip 1 or several months, that’s perfectly okay with us! All we want is to make sure your home is safe from unwanted invaders and provide a service that you know you can trust and count on.
Q. Do you offer any kind of discounts?
A. Yes. While we believe our entire business model offers savings to customers, we also offer additional discounts such as 10% off for our military service members, and first responders. All you have to do is show proof of I.D. to receive the discount. Additionally we offer a referral discount for our monthly customers. For each new customer you bring to us, we give you $10 off a monthly service. Assuming you are a $30 a month customer, you could get a free service every month as long as you gain us 3 new customers during that month!
Q. Why did you choose the name “Citadel”
A. From Brandon the owner: “I wanted a name that conveyed safety, or fortress. In deciding a name for my business, I wanted something that portrayed a sense of peace, or a level of trust. I was actually torn between Fortress, or Castle when i stumbled across the word “Citadel”. A quick dictionary search of “What does citadel mean?” revealed the first word of the definition as “Fortress”. I felt that was perfect and quickly fell in love with the name. Why shouldn’t our homes feel like a fortress? It’s a place were we live, laugh, learn, and play. It’s a place for our family, pets, and valuable possessions. Of course we want to be and feel safe within our own homes. Citadels actually use to be kind of like the city within the city, and always heavily protected. I want to bring that same level of protection to the community. Obviously we don’t need knights or centurions standing guard to squash the occasional roach or spider, but having someone like Citadel Pest Control LLC can make a huge difference in a home protected or not. We understand pest control and prevention goes beyond aimlessly spraying chemical at a house hoping it works. We always have a plan that ensures the job is done right the first time every time so that you have lasting results and a home that is truly protected like a fortress.”
